Poetry in motion is a cliché often heard
Motion in poetry should be equally preferred
Strong and full of purpose, forging onwards like a train
Soft and gentle and beguiling like a drop of summer rain
Full of feeling and emotion, from the heart not the head
Tales of loving and devotion that mere prose could not have said
Expressing wonder in creation, inspiring written words to rhyme
Telling of the joys of living, new wonders seeing all the time
Lift our senses and perception onto a higher plane
Delve the hidden, secret depths of our inner soul's domain
